For me, Firefox has been the browser of choice for years. It’s been dependable (for the most part), and has enough add-ons to fill my needs plus more. But, occasionally I get tired of using it. I really don’t know why. Maybe it’s because I use it all-day everyday and it just gets stale. I guess a browser isn’t something to really get excited about, but with the lack of recent “wow” on the Mac (ignoring Steam by Valve, of course) any little update is enough to get me all giddy.
That’s where Safari 5 comes in. Like I said, it’s not taking much these days to get me excited on the Mac.
So here’s what I’m gonna do: I’m gonna use Safari 5 full-time for a bit and see if I can live without my baby. I’ve already got 1Password updated and running like a champ. The Google Reader skin Snow Leopard is absolutely beautiful and can now be installed as a Safari extension.
We’ll see how it goes…

Safari 5, Back in Grey
