Over the winter break, I was able to work a good bit on my iPhone app. But what I realized over that break is that I’m not good at this at all. Things that take me hours should take minutes and sometimes the simplest concepts elude me for no apparent reason. I’m not a moron when it comes to computers, you’d think I’d be able to pick up on this faster.
I’ve been following Sahil Lavingia’s One Week App the past week and it’s frustrated me even more. He’s young and has received so much attention lately. Congratulations to him and a great app! I wish I could reach even that level of understanding of Objective-C and the iPhone OS and even a little bit of nice looking design.
I guess it’s time to revisit those Stanford iPhone classes, again. My app is almost done, but I fear it may just be almost done for longer than I’ll even care.
