From the ashes a new website emerges… So how did this happen?

It goes like this:

1. Feel bad for not posting in, like, forever.
2. Feel bad for continuing to not post.
3. Log in to post, finally.
4. Update WordPress.
5. BOOM!

To be fair, it wasn’t WordPress’ fault that my site came to ‘splodin. WordPress 2.9.1 wanted a newer version of MySQL than I had setup with my host way back when and while trying to move my tables into a new database using MySQL 5, I just couldn’t get it working properly. So instead of fighting it or wasting too much time I don’t have, I decided to just start fresh and act like it’s time for some spring cleaning.

The new design for the site is pretty slick and wasn’t designed by me (again, to save time). I’m pleased with it so far and will make tweaks here and there to spruce it up even more.

So I hereby christen the new website and sign off for bed.
