Goodbye 1&1 web hosting. Our time is nearing its end.

It totally eludes me how such a large and apparently successful company can have so many problems. The straw that broke the camel’s back was the pure inability to create a new email address. Attempt after attempt to make a single email address, out of a needed five, failed with a bizarre Error 500 Internal Server Error.

Really?

It’s a shared hosting solution for goodness sakes! They are responsible for keeping these servers functioning, not me. I’ve had enough.

The move to Bluehost is not really complete. Right now, the site is hosted at Bluehost but the domain is still registered with 1&1. That will change over time, but for now it’s stable.
